29 August 2025. An online discussion was held specifically to deliberate on the framework of the proposed amendments to the Constitution of the Black Hackle Club, which will be presented at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. The online discussion was conducted via Google Meet, beginning at 9:30 p.m., and was attended by the Legal/Constitution Bureau, the President, the Deputy President, and the Secretary.
In general, the discussion revolved around efforts to translate the constitution from English into Malay, amendments to the existing welfare policy, and the insurance policy for members’ bereavement benefits. Among the new proposals was to amend the organization’s current financial year (1 October – 30 September) to 1 January – 31 December, in order to align and standardize it with the actual calendar year. In addition, it was proposed that adjustments to the annual membership fee be made, with enforcement of payment in January each year, whereby membership validity will expire on 31 December of the respective year.
Furthermore, it was agreed that registration for bereavement insurance will be carried out online, whereby active members who have paid their current annual fees may proceed with the registration.
Such discussions will continue to be held from time to time to monitor progress and development. Appreciation is extended to the committee members who devoted their valuable time to this positive engagement.
